The Governor of Hawaii announced in a news conference Thursday, November 19, 2020 a change to all travelers coming to Hawaii.
Starting Tuesday, November 24th, all Trans-Pacific travelers will need to have a negative COVID-19 test result in hand before departure to bypass quarantine. If the results are not presented you will need to self-isolate for up to 14 days.
Under the new rules, those who come with a pending result will not be able to bypass the state’s mandatory 14-day quarantine, even if they find out later they are negative for COVID-19.
