Thrill-seekers love Bend’s close proximity to Mt. Bachelor, which boasts 88 perfect ski runs on nearly 3,700 acres. The peak of the mountain is just over 9,000 feet, covered by close to 462 inches of snow per year. The park is also perfect for snowshoeing, ice skating, dog sledding and snowmobiling. While winter is the best time to visit, the famous Springtacular arrives with special passes, concerts, festivals and more in the springtime. During summer go on scenic chair lift rides, or experience downhill mountain biking and disc golf.
Thoroughly outfitted for utmost comfort and relaxation, the vast array of top resort amenities at this Central Oregon resort are second to none. Resort amenities include two heated outdoor pools, children’s pool, three hot tubs, two fire pits, mini golf, fitness center and a BBQ area. Wintertime brings an on-site ice-skating rink, while warm weather means whitewater rafting and stables for horseback riding. Hot waxing for skis and snowboards is available for a fee (advance reservations are required, call 541-693-9124).

The Oregon Indoor Clean Air Act prohibits smoking or carry of any lighted smoking or vaporizing instrument in a public place except in areas designated as smoking areas. The law also prohibits smoking within 10 feet of entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes of workplaces or public places. As a result, smoking and/or vaping is prohibited on all suite patios, decks and balconies at this resort. Please check with the resort’s front desk for information on any designated smoking areas they may offer.
